Mixed Media Drop-in sessions Wednesday 10 am – 12 pm
Have you ever wanted to learn how to do mixed media art pieces, then join us at one of our Mixed Media drop-in sessions. In different sessions we will show you how to prepare the backgrounds by either layering paint or collaging papers or combining the two. We will then build on these backgrounds to create more layers by mark making using a variety of tools, stamps and printing techniques. We will then explore how to add further texture with the addition of ephemera, yarns, trims and buttons.
Each session costs £10 per head and includes access to our collection of papers, paints and assorted embellishments. However feel free to bring any papers or art materials you wish to experiment with.
Each sessions will work as stand alone session, however by attending two or more of these sessions you will be able to learn more techniques and gain confidence in layering your art work.
